About Ragnarok...

 

Ragnarok was a collaborative effort between a number of players on the Rings of Honor website, the culmination of many hours of brainstorming, testing, building, retesting, and all that fun stuff that goes into trying to build a new tournament that will be fun and exciting for the masses. This page serves to highlight a few of those key people and thank others that have contributed. First came the founding four. Duel of Magic Coordinator Lem, whose idea it was to finally push to implement a Duel of Magic team event instead of just talking about it. Next, Duel of Magic Assistant Coordinators Claire and Rena. Claire for formulating the layout and Rena for always being available as a sounding board for Claire's aimless ramblings. And finally Jesse, who helped Claire make Ragnarok a reality with storyline ideas and help smoothing out game mechanics. Without those four, the Ragnarok tournament would not be a reality today.

Thank you to the following players for their help along the way. Whether it was in Beta testing, listening to ideas, or giving feedback on what you'd like to see, we can't say thank you enough!

 

Thank you to the following teams for taking part in the Midnight Sun Tournament that served as a Beta test for the Ragnarok team event; SMoTDWHFTY, Magikarpet Ride, Vanguard and the Revengers. Thank you to DUEL Sandy for assisting in calling the event. 

 

Many thanks to the various people we've thrown rules and concepts at over the months, including but not limited to the players of Hope, Shadow, Zack, Grace, Charlie, Harris, Neo, and Kalamere. 

 

Speaking of Kalamere, thank you so much for your early input on some of the back end elements for the tournament, especially in regards to record keeping and site building. Special thanks also goes out to Jake for helping us get set up with the ROH folder to keep all of our stuff straight. 

 

If we've forgotten anyone, it certainly wasn't intentional so just throw something at Claire and she'll gladly give credit where it's due. There have been so many people who helped make this happen, so thank you to you all!
